I have four hungry boys, 3 hungry girls, and one starving husband; all wanting to know what I'm going to do about it; I had no choice but to step up to the plate! I found that I am in love with the closeness homemade cooking can provide; I am not only feeding their hungry bellies, I'm bringing my family together with good food, laughter, and a fight for second helpings.
I would have to say that being Italian, and having an Italian mother, did enable me to see simple delicious cooking and baking done all the time. She had wonderful dishes she was able to pass on to me as well as her love for cooking; she danced in our kitchen when I was little, and flour was always on her nose! I love it that my children are always wondering what that wonderful smell is brewing in the kitchen; it feeds their soul.
All of my dishes are all tried-and-true. Tested by all seven of my children and one hungry husband and are all given the stamp of approval; you will love these recipes and can count on them.
